Writing in Isolation: Narrating Our Characters' Consciousness in Fiction
The current moment in which we find ourselves is an opportunity to consider interiority, specifically the interiority of our characters, their feelings and emotional experiences. But how might we do this? In this workshop, we will explore third-person modes for representing the consciousness of our characters, closely read literary passages as examples and build toward an understanding of how we might employ these devices in our own writing. Open to all levels.
