Join prize-winning guest instructor Kathleen Jamie in an all-day Poetry workshop
(please note there will be no afternoon critiquing session)
This is not just for poets: the workshop has relevance for prose writers. The theme Writing and the Natural World is for everyone! The morning will include examples from useful texts and exercises. There will be an opportunity at lunchtime and at our reception to have Kathleen sign some of her books.
The afternoon will start with a reading from Kathleen's work in the second half, and there will be time for Q & A toward the end of the workshop day.

10am-12pm Morning workshop
12pm-12:45pm Announcements and (possible) author reading
1:00-2:00pm Bring your own picnic lunch to share
2:00-4:30pm Afternoon workshop, including instructor reading and Q+A
5:00-7:00pm Reception and Readings from Offshoots-14
