Welcome to the Geneva Writers Group:
a home for writers from around the world
"It is the place where I first thought of myself as a writer,
and that makes it a kind of home."
Started in 1993 by author Susan Tiberghien, the Geneva Writers’ Group brings together more than 200 English-language writers from some 30 countries. We welcome this diversity of cultures. Our objective is to encourage all forms of creative writing in English and to create a supportive community for both new writers and published authors.
Membership is open to all who wish to develop their writing skills. Support is given to both beginning and published writers. Come join us!
Over the years, GWG activities have included the publication of Offshoots: Writing from Geneva, a biennial anthology; hosting GWG Literary Prizes; coordinating small writing groups; mentoring; free workshops for teenagers; organizing the Geneva Writers’ Conference and the “Meet the Agents” opportunity to pitch your work.
