Join Lisa Williamson (filling in for Lisa Thompson) for a fun and thought provoking workshop. Lisa will help you see the world through a young person’s eyes, creating authentic characters and stories that will both captivate and resonate. 

Lisa is an experienced writer of YA and children's fiction. Her debut novel The Art of Being Normal won best Older Fiction at the 2016 Waterstones Children's Book Prize. Her most recent series (Bigg School) focuses on the first year of secondary school and is aimed at readers aged 9-11. Lisa regularly leads creative writing workshops in schools and at festivals, she loves sharing her skills and knowledge with others.
